Water & Boat Safety

Safety is one of the most important aspects when you plan a trip out on the water.

Extra paddles, gas, life jackets, first aid kit, a whistle, fog horn, map, compass, swash bucket and flashlight are a few of the items that never hurt to have with you in a boat. While this sounds extensive, Lake Lauzon is seven miles long with many islands and inlets. It’s easy to find yourself lost.

Another good system is make sure to wave to every passer by. This ensures that incase someone is looking for you, they know which direction you’re in.

Keeping up to on weather and water conditions is another fantastic preventative safety tip.

Now don’t let this worry you, we make sure you have all the equipment you need, and easy instructions for exploring the lake. Sometimes we may even act as a tour guide!
