Marinade for Korean Bulgogi


Probably one of my top favorite marinade for all meat. It’s a perfect mixture of sweet, salty, umami, and all the flavors in between. 


6 green onions, chopped
2” ginger, grated
4 cloves of garlic, grated
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
2 tablespoons sesame oil
¼ cup sugar
2 finger chiles, minced
1 tablespoon molasses
¼ cup lemon juice
½ cup soy sauce

Mix all ingredients together, and place over meat in a resealable bag. Let marinade for at least 4 hours of preferably overnight. Works best if meat is cut thin on the bias, and grilled quickly. Serve with lettuce wraps and toasted sesame seeds.
