The North Channel runs between Manitoulin Island and the North Shore of Lake Huron. These waters are known as some of the best freshwater sailing in the world. For more information on the North Channel, please refer to the North Channel Yacht Club. They have many valuable resources for planning your next sailing adventure. For a visual tour of the North Channel Yacht Club, watch this video.

With +140 km of shore line, Lake Lauzon offers a variety of activities to do on the water.  Fishing and swimming are the all time favourites.  Other activities are now being enjoyed during our warm summer days.  Lake Lauzon attracts families, both young and old from across the North Shore and beyond!  Many visitors spend their vacations at Lake Lauzon and enjoy the fresh water and beautiful weather.

For many summers Lake Lauzon has supported and continues to support the K.I.C.K summer camps for young kayakers.  This is where instruction is given to our youth who have an interest in water sports.  For more information please contact Algoma Paddlers.
