We are so fortunate to have Brenda and Brian Wilson in our area to provide us with fresh fruits and vegetables and many other favourite camping treats and fresh baking. If you take your time to shop you may also get a few great stories from Brian's ATV adventures. Many of the vacationing residents at Lake Lauzon resort will take a walk along our special country path with the beautiful Lauzon Creek over to Wilson's to see the fresh produce or to pick up a summertime treat. The Wilson's boast the largest selection of cheese on the North Shore and Brian with his many contacts in the produce industry makes regular trips to the Toronto market for fresh fruits and vegetables. Your true Northern Ontario Camping adventure must include a stop at Wilson's Market. They are located on Hwy 17 next to Lake Lauzon Resort on the north side.

Clarence's Fish Market   For a great adventure take a hike along the Great Lake Huron's North Channel you can stop off at  Clarence's Fish Market the shop is an authorized LCBO depot and a smoked fish factory. Gerry is always there to help. The fresh Trout and Whitefish are a favorite for many travelers who pass by on the transcanada hiway. The Pottery in Algoma Mills is located in the old Trading Post building on Hwy 17 1.5 hours west of Sudbury. This would be a great place to visit as you tour the North Shore of Lake Huron on your summer camping trip. You can see how pottery is hand made and have an opportunity to shop for useful handmade pottery, cups, bowls, plates, decanters and more.Blind River Camping

The store is open May 24 through to December 21 2013 and what a treat it is to have such a novel place to visit in Algoma Mills.

 The pottery is hand crafted onsite and you may get a chance to see real pottery being made.
